Before templating
A smooth install starts with a ready kitchen. Here's what we need before we template.
Quartz is non-porous and consistent but can be damaged by direct heat. Granite handles heat well and every slab is unique, but needs periodic sealing. Our stone guide compares them side by side.
Yes, if you're comfortable with patina. Acidic foods like lemon and wine can etch marble. A honed finish hides etching better than polished.
Most L-shaped kitchens and large islands need at least one seam. We place seams where they're least visible and color-match the epoxy — and you approve the layout first.
